The City has a primary and secondary waste treatment system.  A new sewage lagoon treatment system was completed in the fall of 1996.  The City has 2 full-time maintenance personnel who provide water, sewer, street, and various other services.

Garbage

Stan &Sons from Valley, Neb., is the hauler for Yutan.  The disposal site is Douglas County Landfill.  The City has a recycling system in place, with Stan & Sons being the handler.  for information rates and service contact:
